Cookies Policy

Effective from: [DATE THE CONSENT WINDOW GOES LIVE]

1. In short

The signumbiuro.pl website works without any consent. In that case we save only what is needed to remember your cookie choice and to send a form. We switch on statistics (Google Analytics 4) only if you agree to it. The website has no advertising tools or remarketing.

2. Who is responsible for the data

The website www.signumbiuro.pl is run by Signum Biuro Aktuarialne Sp. z o.o., ul. Wojciechowskiego 40/72, 02-495 Warsaw, Poland. The company is the controller of the personal data that arises when you use the website. For questions about cookies and personal data, write to signum@signumbiuro.pl or call +48 22 635 45 34. Data from forms, enquiries and contracts is described (in Polish) on the RODO informacje page.

3. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that your browser saves on a computer, phone or tablet. We apply the same rules to similar techniques, for example saving data in the browser’s local storage. A script is not a cookie, but it can save and read such data and send it on.

4. What we save without your consent

Without consent we save only necessary data: your cookie choice, and whatever is needed for the services you ask for to work (for example, sending a form). Article 399(3) of the Polish Electronic Communications Law of 12 July 2024 allows this. We base remembering your choice on our legitimate interest in handling privacy settings (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. What we save with your consent

We switch statistics on only after you click consent in the cookie window shown on your first visit (Article 399(1) of that law and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). If you refuse or close the window without choosing, statistics stay off. You can use the whole website and its forms without giving any consent.

After you consent, Google Analytics 4 runs, loaded through Google Tag Manager. It shows us how many people visit the website, which pages they read and where they come from, for example a search engine. We use this to decide what to improve. The tool saves a browser identifier in a cookie and collects information about your device, browser, pages visited, visit time and traffic source. Google servers receive your IP address in the process. According to Google, the IP address of users in the EU is not stored and serves only to determine approximate location. This does not mean that all collected data is anonymous.

What you type into forms (the message, email address, phone number) does not go to Google.

6. Cookies and how long they stay

NameWhose it is and what it doesTime on your device
cmplz_* (e.g. cmplz_statistics, cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_policy_id)Signum, Complianz plugin on our server. Remembers your choice (necessary file).up to 12 months
_gaGoogle. Lets statistics tell browsers apart.up to 2 years; may extend with later visits
_ga_EDBBYCG943Google. Keeps the state of the current visit in Google Analytics 4.up to 2 years; may extend with later visits
wordpress_*, wp-settings-*Signum. Login to the website admin panel; administrators only.until the end of the session or up to 14 days

Your browser may shorten these periods. Regardless of the files on your device, we keep user and event data in Google Analytics 4 for up to 14 months. Aggregated reports from which a visitor cannot be identified may be kept longer.

7. Who receives the data

After you consent, statistical data goes to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. That company, other Google group companies and their subcontractors process it on our behalf under Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Technical data needed to run the website is also processed on our behalf by the company that provides our hosting.

Data may go to Google LLC in the United States. The transfer relies on the European Commission implementing decision of 10 July 2023 on an adequate level of protection under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Article 45 GDPR). The decision applies to companies with a valid certification and only to the scope that certification covers. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy and https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks.

8. How to change or withdraw consent

Choose “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page (or the button in the bottom-left corner of the screen) and change your choice. You can do this at any time, free of charge. What we did on the basis of your consent before you withdrew it remains lawful.

After you withdraw consent, the website stops starting Google Analytics and deletes the _ga cookies from its own domain. Cookies from other domains can be removed in your browser settings. We remember your choice for 12 months. After that, or after you clear cookies in your browser, the window appears again. You can also block cookies in your browser, but blocking necessary files may mean your decision is not remembered.

9. Your rights

The GDPR gives you the right to request access to your data, its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing and, where we rely on consent, its portability. If the basis is legitimate interest, you may object to the processing by pointing to your particular situation. You may lodge a complaint about our actions with the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (uodo.gov.pl). Write to us at signum@signumbiuro.pl.

10. Changes to this policy

The date of the current version is at the top of the document. Updating the policy does not replace consent. If we ever want to use cookies for new purposes, we will ask for your consent again.
